How does a writer develop? What are the instructional routines aligned to the science of reading research? Teaching writing is not a simple task, but rather very complex and powerfully dynamic. Throughout the year take a deep dive with us as we explore how a writer develops and the instructional routines that support that development. Join us as we explore the writing skills connected to the simple view of reading needed in language comprehension and word recognition routines to help develop our youngest writers.
This professional learning series will provide you with insights, tools, resources, and knowledge to develop actionable ways to implement developmentally appropriate and strategic writing instruction.
