4K Literacy Collaborative: Leveraging Purposeful and Playful Literacy Learning Within the 4K Classroom
The 4K Literacy Collaborative has been developed to bring 4K teachers from across districts together, to engage in deep learning about ways to leverage purposeful and playful literacy learning within the 4K classroom.
Each year, the 4K Literacy Collaborative provides professional learning opportunities connected to high-leverage practice(s) that can be incorporated within the 4K classroom. These practices are rooted in research that supports the science of reading with our youngest learners. Throughout our second year of the 4K Literacy Collaborative, participants will have the option of selecting one “pathway,” or focus of learning.

"The content of this learning session was very well organized and connected well. The handouts were supporting the work, not just additional information 'just in case'. There was plenty of time for conversation and processing."
"The hands-on learning, collaborative learning with peers, and the time for team discussions went well. The group/teamwork time is GREATLY appreciated. We learned from real examples and the awesome online resources. Super 4K applicable - thank you!"
