Grant Writing Service
Looking to fund a program or initiative?
The GROW Grant Office investigates and monitors public and private funding sources at the local, state and national levels, updating clients about available funding opportunities.
The GROW Grant Office team works with clients to determine whether they qualify for a grant, documenting instructional gaps and educational needs of students, parents, teaching staff, administrators and communities. Team members help generate data and ideas for project components and suggest collaborative partnerships that strengthen the proposal.
Prospective new clients are encouraged to initially work with GROW on a single-proposal basis in order to minimize up-front costs as the client and GROW familiarize themselves with one another and with the grant development process. Once a working relationship has been established, grant-writing clients may choose to become members of the GROW Grant Consortium. Under the consortium arrangement, multiple competitive grant proposals may be submitted per consortium client per year, depending on timing and suitability of grant programs and availability of writing capacity.
Critiquing/editing services and grant-writing training are available. School districts may also subscribe to the GROW Grant Information Service (GIS), which provides timely periodic reports on current funding opportunities, as well as brief consultation on the funding information provided.
Grant Information Service (GIS)
GROW disseminates grant information to school districts, municipalities and nonprofits. The Grant Information Service (GIS) in no way obligates you to GROW for the actual writing of any grant, although we would be pleased if you considered our competitive grant-writing services.
The GROW Grant Information Service offers the following:
- Timely periodic information on funding opportunities specifically for school districts as well as municipalities, counties and other community agencies
- Brief consultation on inquiries about grant programs included in GIS updates
- Fee-based research about possible funding sources and interests as requested by the subscriber
