Sara Fleischman I Director
Sara has spent almost 20 years in education in a variety of positions including classroom teacher, math interventionist, reading and math enrichment teacher, instructional coach and math consultant. Sara has a Master of School Administration and Leadership degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, but her passion for dynamic math instruction has led her to a focus of transforming math classrooms into highly-engaged environments with student-driven reasoning and discourse and authentic problem-solving. Sara believes that instructional coaching is vital so teachers can face instructional challenges armed with high-yield instructional strategies that promote patient problem-solving and creative mathematical reasoning. When discussing the importance of instructional coaching, Sara quotes Jim Knight who said, “When teachers stop learning, so do students.” Most recently, Sara has worked as a consultant/coach for CESA 6 and an Instructional Performance Coach. Sara is also Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool (SCRIPT) certified.

Kris Meffert I Consultant
Kris provides a wide depth of experience both in public and private education. She has served students for 15 years as an instructional coach, math interventionist, teacher of the gifted and talented, technology coordinator and classroom teacher. Kris is a highly creative educator with a curiosity about mathematics that drives her to find the best practices to advance student learning. Kris brings compassion and energy to the teams that she coaches and the professional development that she leads. Kris has experience with curriculum and assessment development, standards-based instruction, implementation of the math practice standards, utilization of technology to advance mathematics instruction, and student performance data interpretation. Kris believes that a successful teacher-coach relationship is based on listening and that coaching is the most impactful exercise for teacher and student growth.

Chad Collier I Consultant
Chad provides 20 years of education experience, serving in various K-12 roles throughout that time, including: classroom teacher, instructional coach, math interventionist, principal, and STEM and gifted coordinator. Chad earned a Master’s Degree from Concordia University-Wisconsin and holds DPI licensure in Educational Administration, Teaching, Mathematics, and Curriculum/Instruction. Chad is an energetic educator who is passionate about facilitating learning experiences with/and for teachers. He believes that “reflective” teaching is a key construct in student/educator/school improvement and job-embedded instructional coaching is essential in supporting educators toward that improvement. Chad enjoys partnering with fellow educators in developing high(er)-quality learning environments, and supports the deep utilization of assessment data to drive Mathematics instruction. Chad is also Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool (SCRIPT) certified.
