How We Can Help
Our Alternative EBD School Programs
A percentage of students present disruptive and inappropriate behavior that cannot be dealt with effectively within the traditional school environment. An alternative educational environment with varied settings and activities can do much to change a student’s behavior.
The alternative settings provide positive support programs with curricular alternatives designed to meet the individual needs, abilities and interests of these students. A non-traditional setting and small student-to-staff ratio provides these students with the incentives and the individual opportunities needed to succeed. In the same context, an alternative program is often better equipped to offer these students a more relevant form of affective development in conjunction with vocational preparation. This non-traditional setting often serves to provide greater opportunities for parental involvement.
