Overview
Wisconsin school districts face a growing challenge in recruiting and retaining competent substitute teachers. CESA 6 has developed a specialized Substitute Teacher Training program to address this shortage. This training aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel as substitute teachers while providing guidance in the WI DPI license application.
Our comprehensive training program goes beyond theoretical instruction and actively engages prospective substitute teachers in practical activities that simulate real classroom situations. Through these interactive exercises, participants gain valuable experience and learn to adapt to various teaching styles throughout grade levels. Moreover, our experienced instructors demonstrate effective teaching principles, enabling participants to better prepare for future substitute teaching assignments.
