Academic and Career Planning (ACP) and
Career-Based Learning Experiences (CBLE)
ACP is intended to equip students and their families with the tools necessary to make more informed choices about postsecondary education and training as it leads to careers. Through ACP and CBLE supports, services, and PD, schools and districts have the opportunity to build robust college and career skills and pathways.
CESA 6 offers a College and Career Ready Network for districts to learn, model, and share together. Professional development includes Supporting Education for Employment Implementation Local Plans, Building Better Business Partnerships, Applying Labor Market Information to Build Career Pathway Programs, and Integrating Career Based Learning into the Classroom among others. Career and business-partner software Professional development, technical support, and utilization coaching is available.
