Student CARE Collaborative

2023-2024 School Year

The Student CARE Collaborative (formerly called “Safe & Healthy Schools Series”) provides opportunities for leaders, specialists, and educators to engage with peers regarding pupil services-related topics of interest within and across professional disciplines. Additionally, member districts have access to periodic consultation from field experts. The information, training and collaborative discussions relate to mental wellness and other social, emotional or behavioral topics that require effective systems and supports to be in effect so that schools can meet the needs of the whole student.

  • Comprehensive School Mental Health Systems
  • Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Support for Students Experiencing Homelessness
  • Crisis Planning/School Safety Planning
  • School/ Family/ Community engagement

OUTCOMES

  • Professional learning, collaboration and networking around pupil services-related topics
  • Share experiences and ideas based on best practice in areas of prevention strategies, youth risk/resilience and staff resilience
  • Awareness of current trends, legal issues, and timely funding opportunities
  • Build capacity to create caring and connected school communities

COST

Student CARE Collaborative Member District

  • Single, full-day attendance (in addition to the member seat(s))
    • $150/seat/event OR $500/seat/4-day series
  • School/Community Connector Discount
    • $50/event

Non-Student CARE Collaborative Member District

  • Single, full-day attendance (for each participant)
    • $250/event
  • School/Community Connector Discount
    • $100/event

School Social Worker Collaborative Series

2023 - 2024 School Year

 

This standard collaborative series is an opportunity for School Social Workers, both new and experienced, to learn from one another, build resources, and keep up to date on the latest evidence based programs and legal issues. School Social Workers provide the link between the school and community agencies especially as they relate to youth mental health challenges.

 

SCHEDULE

The CESA 6 Classroom Management Collaborative series meetings are scheduled for Friday as follows:

 

10/27/23 (session #1):
Supporting Students in Foster Care

DETAILS

Registration Fee: 

  • $200 for (4) School Social Worker Collaborative Series (1 Seat) or $75 per meeting

Please note:

  • CESA 6 Student Services Community districts will receive 1 FREE seat for the entire Collaborative series. 
  • Collaborative series will be purchased as a “seat” per district. The district can purchase as many “seat(s)” as they would like to fulfill their training needs. This will allow for the district to rotate staff through a series of meetings at their discretion based on topics and schedules.
  • The cost of $200 per seat will be invoiced to the district at the time of registration for the “seat.”  
  • Additional seats will be invoiced at $200 per seat or $75 per session.
