EMBARC curriculum tool (formerly Build Your Own Curriculum-BYOC): Customized support for using this robust tool is available for all aspects of implementation from curriculum writing, lesson planning, assessment design, as well as monitoring through reports and collaboration tools.
In-District Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Services: CESA 6 Instructional Services provides customized research-based practical processes and necessary content for the design, development, implementation and sustainability of local standards-based curricula, assessments, and instruction.
Data for School Accountability: Accountability Trainers are available to help you make sense of School Accountability data from the state, use district school and classroom data to monitor progress, design instruction, inform SLOs and make data-driven decisions in the classroom.
Leadership and Learning Analysis is an audit and evaluation in the areas of curriculum and instruction as well as leadership, assessment and accountability. Results are compiled and reviewed by CESA 6 coordinators with histories of successful district leadership. Data is analyzed and reported by CESA 6 Coordinators - it is not auto scored, to give each district a customized and professional review.
Learning and Assessment Center: The Learning and Assessment Center is a regional professional learning community and the forum for obtaining DPI/national educational updates. Most importantly, this network allows for sharing of best practices and finding solutions to challenging educational issues.
Math Center: The CESA 6 Math Center helps improve all students' learning through best practices in mathematics. The center designs professional development, in-district consultation, curriculum support and coaching services to improve mathematics instruction at the classroom level. The Math Center strives to provide:
Universal Design for Learning (UDL): The UDL Guidelines are a tool used in the implementation of Universal Design for Learning, a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. The UDL Guidelines can be used by educators, curriculum developers, researchers, parents, and anyone else who wants to implement the UDL framework in a learning environment. These guidelines offer a set of concrete suggestions that can be applied to any discipline or domain to ensure that all learners can access and participate in meaningful, challenging learning opportunities.
