Dr. Bryan Albrecht has served as Gateway's President since 2006. 

In this role, Dr. Albrecht represents the college on over 50 local, state, and national boards. He supports a comprehensive and vision-driven college, by increasing student support, contemporary programming, positive community partnerships, and innovative classrooms and facilities that reflect the business and industry. Under Dr. Albrecht's leadership, Gateway has been recognized as a military friendly college by the United States Department of Defense, an innovative college by the United States Department of Labor, a leadership college by the Association for Career and Technical Education, and a model college by the American Association of Community Colleges for sustainable education and economic development.

CESA 6 proudly announces its third annual STEM Summit. Educators, industry leaders, and others will gather to showcase replicable models and discuss increasing student access to and success in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).  The 2012 STEM Summit will help educators explore the strategic use of information technology to better serve their students, campuses, and communities.

Over 60 sessions will cover everything from recruiting and retaining students for STEM-related programs to using information technology to improve organizational and student learning.
