ESEA Support
There are presently 33 school districts that utilize the CESA 6 Title IIA purchased service option. The service provides the following for school districts:

Electronic updates of any changes that occur in NCLB. |

Electronic updates of any state requirements that change in regard to paperwork and
implementation of NCLB. |
|
• |
Electronic presentations of resources that help districts in the implementation of NCLB. |
|
• |
CESA 6 attendance at all state meetings regarding NCLB and the transfer of that
information to a district contact person. |
|
• |
A spring all day workshop to disseminate new information and to allow districts to bring
a team to update consolidated application and budgets for NCLB. CESA 6 provides
guidance for any of the Titles at this meeting and provides computers to allow teams to
go online to import their plan and new goals/objectives. |

Provide an NCLB Monitoring Handbook within which to place district documentation for
on-site monitoring visits by the DPI. |

• |
CESA consultation for audit preparation as well as representation at an actual
monitoring visit by the DPI. |
|
• |
Rate reductions for many workshops held by CESA 6. Seventy percent of the districts
received enough in rate reductions that those reductions alone paid the Title IIA
purchased service fee for the district.
