CESA 6 Instructional Services provides leadership in assisting districts with compliance issues related to educator licensing requirements under the PI 34 rule. School districts are welcome to join the PI 34 Consortium which will enable member districts to receive guidance and comprehensive staff development in all three license categories, with a particular emphasis on assisting initial educators with license renewal needs.
Membership fees are based on student enrollment size. Each district receives personalized support through allocated in-district face-face hours from the coordinator which can be used for support of initial educators in the professional development plan license renewal process, meetings with administrators for better understanding of PI 34 district requirements, staff development for deeper understanding of PI 34.
